Portchain works on the port call: when a ship should arrive, how that lines up with the berth, and how carrier and terminal share the plan. The product is coordination and optimization of the call, not the terminal operating system that moves the containers once the ship is alongside.

Navis N4 is the TOS underneath yard and vessel operations. Portchain sits in the planning layer between the liner schedule and the berth. Buyers are carriers and terminals who lose time because the arrival plan and the berth plan are not the same plan.
