Sedna started as email built for chartering and operations desks: messages tagged to a vessel or a fixture, shared across a team, and connected to the systems those teams already run. It is the inbox layer for brokers, operators, and owners who were living in generic email.
Sedna Trade now also includes a voyage management system that continues the product formerly sold by Dataloy Systems. That VMS covers commercial voyage execution with APIs and a connected workspace for operations, commercial, and finance. Use Sedna when the problem is the email-and-voyage workflow. Use Veson when the problem is the full commercial contract system, and Dualog when the problem is ship-to-shore mail delivery rather than the chartering desk.
