QPS Qinsy

Qinsy, from QPS, is hydrographic acquisition software. Surveyors use it online, on the vessel, to collect bathymetry and related sensor data, apply positioning, and see whether the sounding is good while the line is still being run.

It is a survey tool, not a nautical chart plotter for navigation and not a port operating system. The same company sells processing and mapping tools around it. Buyers are hydrographic survey companies, dredging contractors, and port or offshore survey departments who need a type of software the chartering desk will never open.
