Expedition

Expedition is desktop navigation and performance software used on racing and cruising yachts. It combines chart plotting, instrument data, polar performance, and weather routing so a navigator can plan a passage and see how the boat is sailing against that plan.

It is a paid installed application, not a fleet-management system and not an open-source plotter. Owners and navigators choose it when they want a specialist sailing tool — start-line and routing functions included — rather than a general commercial ECDIS or a free chart plotter.
